Due to concerns over COVID-19, the museum has suspended public operations until further notice. Staff will be checking emails and voicemail regularly and responding as quickly as possible to questions and concerns. Please check back for updates. Thank you for understanding.
Although we are temporarily closed to visitors, we remain committed to preserving and sharing the history of Wake Forest, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the museum soon. In the meantime, if you are in a position to support the Museum, please consider making a donation to the Wake Forest College Birthplace Society. Your support is more important than ever.
The Birthplace Society receives generous annual support from Wake Forest University in the form of staff salaries and maintenance of the historic Calvin Jones House, but the museum can not fulfill its mission without also raising funds. Your membership dues and donations pay the electric bill, water the lovely Brewer-Harris Garden, fund new exhibits and educational programs, and keep the Museum operating. With your support it will continue to preserve and share the history of Wake Forest for many years to come.
Make a contribution to the Wake Forest Birthplace Society, Inc. by mail and send to Wake Forest Historical Museum, Executive Director Ed Morris, P.O. Box 494, Wake Forest, NC 27588.
Support the Museum online through Wake Forest University by designating the Wake Forest Birthplace Society.
