Join us as we explore a new part of historic Wake Forest every month, including the Wake Forest Historic District, Glen Royall Mill Village, Downtown, the Northeast Community, and the SEBTS campus.

Tours will take place on the fourth Friday of each month unless it corresponds with a holiday weekend.

Explore the Northeast Community

On February 24, 2023, at 1 PM, we will explore the Northeast Community. The tour will start in front of the Alston-Massenburg Center and include Olive Branch Baptist Church, the newly restored Ailey Young House, and African American Cemetery. Along the way, each group will discuss the developmental and architectural history of the area, along with the significant men and women who shaped the Northeast Community.
