New Exhibition | From the Collections: Portraits

We are thrilled to announce a new Wake Forest Historical Museum exhibition. The exhibition will open to the public on Tuesday, November 28.

About the Exhibit

From the Collection: Portraits explores how portraits convey identity. Visitors will learn to “read” portraits and consider why and how we make portraits. The portraits are part of the Wake Forest Historical Museum collections and Wake Forest University’s Office of University Art Collections.

The exhibit also features contemporary portraits by local portrait artists, including Amy Yeager Jorge, Lemoi Desina (ASTP Photography), Jane Steelman (Steelman Studios), and Nancy Jo Lee (Nancy Jo Photography).
