The museum is now open with new health and safety procedures like free timed tickets and required cloth face masks.
This year’s Old Campus Trek on Saturday, April 7th has a full schedule of fun-filled activities for students and alumni of Wake Forest University. The day begins at 9:30 am with a casual coffee and social period, followed by a morning program presented by Mary Tribble (WFU ‘82), Senior Advisor for Engagement Strategies. A direct descendant of Wake Forest’s first president, Tribble will discuss the courtship of her history-making great-great-great-great grandparents, Samuel and Sally Wait.
Guided tours of the Old Campus will be provided along with a picnic lunch. For the afternoon program, Dr. Ed Wilson will reflect on Wake Forest’s past and discuss its future; Ben Weekly (WFU ‘18) and Addie Folk (WFU ‘19), who are members of the WFU Traditions Council and both descended from Old Campus alumni, will give a visual presentation.
Advance registration is required. Please contact the Alumni Office at 336-758-4278 or visit http://www.wfu.edu/alumni. For more information, call the museum at 919-556-2911 or email Executive Director Ed Morris at email@example.com.
