November 14, 2010 was a beautiful day for a ribbon cutting.
Maybe Wake Forest native Barbara Lyon said it best. “To us Wake Forest was the same, the community and the college. We never said Town of Wake Forest or Wake Forest College. It was just Wake Forest.”
That’s what you saw on November 14th. A crowd of several hundred family and friends gathered together to celebrate the special history of this town, college and university.
It was just Wake Forest.
